Impressive and sublime, it was created for Tiffany & Co. in 1943. Included is a card in a Tiffany envelope that reads: “Your Rosenfeld handbag is fashioned from the finest Mexican skins, Baran Alligator, acclaimed the aristocrat of all leathers, polished to pliant perfection, a cherished possession to treasure.” Superb, one-off couture style! The jewel-crown of the piece is its clasp – a uniquely shaped Bakelite ornament trimmed with hammered brass. (W 16 ½"by H 8"by D 4"). Singed: Rosenfeld.

A collectible collaboration with the famed jeweler, Kenneth J. Lane. Petite, sharkskin-grained leather pocketbook accented by a stunning, jeweled Lion's head bracelet-handle. Satin-lined. Provenance: I was very lucky to find an original Bonwit Teller's ad, from September 3, 1969, that advertised the very same cocktail purse.

Opulent leather handbag created in collaboration with the famed jewelers, Marcel Boucher. It is accented by an intricately etched silver plate depicting a pastoral scene. Superb quality! Ultra-rare museum piece made with expensive American alligator. Phenomenal, multi-dimensional, one-off construction. A round body, football-like bottom, plenty of welted seams. Generously pleated, central belly-cut with the umbilical scar displayed on the bottom. Amazing, gilt-brass disks are holding its wide, cuff-like handle.
